KVK Business Register Open Dataset Basic Company Information
With this API you can look up some basic company details of registrations with the KVK number. For example, registration date, zip code region and activities.
Good to know
- This product is suitable for statistics and analyses, for example.
- This dataset only provides data from Private Companies (BV) and Public Limited Companies (NV).
- The limit is one query per minute.
- It is also possible to get the open dataset in bulk. Read more about bulk delivery.
Legislation
- The HVDS (High Value Data Set) does not contain any personal data. This means that the available dataset does not contain all data fields described in Implementing Regulation 2023/138. This applies to the name of the company and the KVK number. Only the first two digits of the postal code of the business address are part of the datasets. The name of the company, the KVK number and the business address cannot be regarded as personal data in all cases. KVK cannot assess this on a case-by-case basis and therefore does not make this data available as part of the HVDS.
- The Chamber of Commerce makes data available as HVDS on the basis of legislation including the Reuse of Government Information Act and Implementation Regulation 2023/138.
- The HVDS is made available for reuse under the terms of the Creative Commons BY 4.0 licentie (CC BY 4.0). This is a globally standardized public licence. These terms and conditions apply to the use of the HVDS. By using the KVK Business Register Open Dataset Basic Company Information, these conditions are accepted by the user of the HVDS. It is not permitted to enrich this HVDS in such a way that the data can be traced back to an individual person.
